Resolutions and a look back

As 2009 comes to a close, I recommend looking back over the past year.  What's happened, what's changed, what should have changed and didn't, and what can you take with you in 2010.

The most popular resolutions are weight loss, quit smoking, save money, drink less alcohol, reduce stress, and get a better education.  If you notice, they're all about "me".  Nothing is wrong with doing things for yourself once in a while, we all need to.  But why not take a look around and see things in a different perspective.  Look around you and take notice of the people who seem to be brushed aside and become part of a "system" day after day.

During the holidays we tend to volunteer more or give to charities more, when in reality those charities need us everyday not just during the holidays.   People still need sewing done at shelters, soup kitchens need their shelves stocked and you have a skill that you can share with someone who is just starting out (again).

As the year ends, take a look back - where have you been, what have you done and what can you do better?
