Two down - one to go

Two weeks down and one to go.  A week from today I will be heading home - leaving my one bed/living/reading room until the next time I return to Wilmington in January for the second trial concerning this particular case.  Hopefully I won't have the same exact room - I'd like to move to the 9th floor.  The rooms up there are MUCH nicer. It's the executive floor.

Last night we went to Chelsea's Tavern for dinner.  We called and made reservations for 23 and the woman on the phone almost choked.  Apparently, 23 on a Friday night doesn't happen very often.  The food was very good and I highly recommend the beer I had.  I was a mixture - Stella on the bottom of the glass and Guinness on the top.  The Guinness will sit on the top for a bit - it's a pretty cool looking drink. Not two beers I would have put together but ... I enjoyed the three I had. :)

We were told we didn't have to report to the Law Center until 9am this morning.  Quite a treat for those of us who were walking in at 6am.  I had a problem though - I have no idea how to sleep in!  Even at home I don't know how to do it.  So there I was at 4:45am wide awake staring at the ceiling wondering what to do.  I can't clean my room - people get paid to do that.  I don't want to turn on the TV because I KNOW there's nothing on.  So there I was, up and no place to go.  Until I remembered my buddy Koley was working the front desk so I brushed my hair and teeth, put my yoga pants on with my BOSTON sweatshirt and went down stairs and hung out with him for an hour or so.  He probably had work to do, but if he did, he didn't act like it.

The trial team is hard at work today and tomorrow gearing up for their final week.  Anthony (my boss) is back in Brussels with his family and off to Oslo tomorrow morning to meet with the client. Lots of work to be done on all sides.

Oh and C and my mom are off to buy a Wii.  No - I never caved and bought one before.  I didn't really see the need for it because we were never home and quite frankly, it's a lot of money.  But when C texted me and said "Natalie is bored" I knew I was in trouble.  They've gone for a 5 mile walk, she's read every book on my Nook (there was almost 30),and  she's been to the library several times. I caved and said - go buy one and I'll pay for it when I get back.  Both of them said "OK!"  My mom will addicted to the Wii in no time.

Gotta go - I have homework to get done. No nap today :(

Have fun C!
